Iterative aircraft development

Owen has built experimental radio-controlled aircraft to learn about propulsion, mechanical design, flight stability, and iterative testing. Two earlier attempts ended in crashes. Those outcomes are part of the engineering record rather than hidden failures, and a third aircraft iteration is now under development.

Future work, not completed

Current iteration

The next design applies lessons from the previous crashes to structure, balance, propulsion, and stability. It remains under development and is not presented as a completed autonomous UAV.

Development, step by step.

  1. First two flight attempts

Built and tested two aircraft; both crashed.

  2. Third iteration

Developing a revised aircraft informed by propulsion, stability, and structural lessons.
